The SAT's are right around the corner, but on October 4th and 5th, you can learn everything you need to know to outsmart the test! After Catalyst's SAT Bootcamp here in Naugatuck (to be held at City Hill Middle School), you will know how to write a perfect essay for any question they ask, how to avoid the biggest answer traps and how to tackle every type of question that is guaranteed to be on the test! Just jump on www.CatalystPrep.com and click on "Bootcamp Sign-Up" to enroll. This Bootcamp is approved by the Naugatuck Board of Education. The cost is $175.
Saturday detentions will begin on Saturday, October 4th. Schedules will be posted in the Dean's Office, Main Office, ISS room and S178.
Ion Bank opens today! For those new to the school, Ion bank is located in the cafe. Stop by and say hello to our student tellers: Suzana Amaral, Chris Arcos, Jason Bradley, Tayron Haxhia, Sara Marques, Kevin Okifo, Shannon Searles and Julia Was. The bank will open on full school days every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 1pm.
Admissions Officers from Duke University will be at Hopkins School in New Haven on October 7th at 7pm. For more information, stop in the counseling office.

Class of 2015
Attention Class of 2015! Do you want your and your friends #Transformation Tuesday in the yearbook? Bring your old photos and friends to N111 by October 6th and 7th after school if you want to appear in the yearbooks. Any questions, see Mrs. Messenger.

Skateboards in School
Starting today, for safety reasons, skateboards cannot be carried around the building. If you bring your skateboard to school, it must be placed in your locker or left in an office or trusted classroom until the end of the day.
Massachusetts College of Pharmacy has rescheduled the visit to October 1st, which is this Wednesday. Please see Mrs. Krusko in the Counseling Dept. for a pass.
Palace Theater after school program
All students interested in attending an after school program at the Palace Theater should see Mrs. Messenger in N111. All registration forms and permission slips should be completed and handed in on Friday, Oct. 3rd.
UCONN field trip
There will be a field trip to visit the University of CT on October 14th. The cost is $6 per person. Please see Mr. Leary in S182 for a permission slip and with any questions. Limited spots available. Lunch will be provided.
